Emma is growing up!!!!

So, we had our first Parent-Teacher Conference this morning with Mrs. Bridgette. She had nothing but great things to say about Emma. She said she was the "leader" of the class and was very very smart. She also said she was doing great with her reading as well. She did 2 different assessments, one in August & one in January and it was good to compare the two to see how much she has learned. This deserves a treat Emma Grace ~ good job. We are so proud of you!!!! :)

yes......the Jonas Brothers. Emma asked me today if I was going to take her to see the Jonas Brothers. I guess she heard on Disney or the radio they were getting ready to release their tour dates, etc. I can't even imagine what these tickets will go for considering I paid out the you-know-what for Hannah Montana Meets Miley Cyrus tickets......I am anxious to see. I said, "Don't you remember that they were on the tour with Hannah when we saw her?" She replied, "Duh, but I can see them again!" Funny how children think $ grows on trees huh?

We will see ~ as if a trip to DISNEY in May isn't enough..........

So, I heard this song on the radio the other night and it brought tears to my eyes. It is by Darius Rucker (previously lead singer of Hootie & The Blowfish). I thought to myself this day is coming as I was driving (crying like a baby) that I have 2 girls and this day will be here before I know it. Eric surprised the girls Saturday afternoon with a boxer puppy! We have not had a silent second in the house since then and the girls are both overwhelmed with joy! I am not the animal lover by any means but I figure it's time for me to finally give in......Welcome Ella Grace to our family!
