Fun with The Sewell's

Playing in the sand at Gilmer Co. High...as you can imagine, they had sand everywhere!
kiddos watching the movie
babies going night-night

Saturday, our day started early...6:40 am to be exact! We started out going to Kiddie Carousel for their annual yard-sale blowout. After that, the girls hung out at the Sewell's house before heading to Ellijay to see the Dads play in a flag football tournament. BTW ~ Eric sprain his ankle, it's about 2 times as big as the other one! After their loss, we headed to Dawsonville for dinner & some shopping at the outlets. We then headed back to Ellijay to watch Hannah Montana at Swan Drive In. The kids had a blast! They were so tired and smelled a little stinky from being outside all day :)

Go Mudcats!

Emma had her first ball game tonight. She did a great job...they all did! Eric is in Charlotte doing some training so the head coach missed the first game! :( I was so proud of M! First time at bat, she whacked it big time but it was foul, then she struck out :( Second time at bat, she hit a line drive with a double! They didn't officially keep score but if they did, we would have won! Congrats Bud on a job well done! :) love you lots!

Jackson

Saturday we took the girls to our local "Pets R Us" just for a visit...or so we thought. We all fell in love with this little fellow (7 wks old), after all, who wouldn't? He is a mini rat terrier named Jackson; named by the girls of course! As some of you know, we did have a boxer named Ella who we got back in January. She didn't quite work out...Ganny Debbie has her now. Jackson is the cutest little dog ever! And believe me, I am NOT an animal person but Jackson, I love! He is about 1 pound now and won't get more than 2-3 pounds full grown...that's what I'm talking about! :)

Fun at the Park

Taylor spent the night with Emma on Friday night. We ate dinner with her & her parents then it was time for a bubble bath...they could have stayed in there for hours! Then it was time to watch some movies, we watched HSM 3 & Bedtime Stories. I think they finally went to sleep around 12:30 am! Saturday morning, we ventured out to eat breakfast at my dad's restaurant, took a trip to the outlet mall, then headed for a picnic lunch at our local park. After that, we went to buy Emma & Ryan a new puppy. I'll post pics later today.

Wednesday Emma's school had their 1st Easter Bonnet Parade...it was exciting! The kids made their own bonnet out of tissue paper and old flowers, they were so cute! They marched around the building for all the spectators while flashes were going off like no tomorrow. After the parade, they had their Easter Snack & Craft then it was time for the Easter Egg Hunt outside.

**Be sure to check out the Daily Citizen tomorrow (Thursday) Emma & her friend Taylor will be in the paper!** She is soooo excited! Ok ~ so am I! You know I will post the picture here when they post it! :)
